Cyber risks, a major concern of the Central Insurance of Iran

Cyber risks plans proposed by Iranian insurers shall be submitted for approval by the Central Insurance of Iran before being marketed.

This recently-announced measure has been designed to verify the premium level in relation to the risks incurred. It comes following a large-scale cyber attack that happened in April 2018 and which affected more than 3500 information and communication units in the country.
