Crop insurance in Malaysia

The Malaysian government will soon be offering crop insurance policies to compensate farmers for losses incurred as a result of natural disasters.

This initiative is part of the government's efforts to enhance food security.

Initially intended for rice farmers, the new coverage will be extended to other sectors of the food industry.
