Covid-19: Compensation claims are still increasing in India

According to data published by the General Insurance Council, the number of Covid-19 claims as of 1^st December 2020 reached 634 000 files for a total of 1.29 billion USD. 46% of them were compensated by Indian insurers for 600 million USD.

The local insurance companies expect a significant increase in the health loss ratios.
