Covid-19: additional costs for Jordanian insurers

During the pandemic, the Jordanian policyholders are urged to communicate with their insurers via internet, which results in additional costs for insurers.

In fact, the latter  have to invest in computer equipment to maintain electronic links and programs. Hence, the increase in insurance companies' expenses whose payroll accounts for 85% of total administrative expenses.

In addition, these insurers are required to maintain their staff during this crisis.
