China Re and Korean Re have entered the top ten of the most important reinsurers

China Re and Korean Re have respectively moved to the eighth and tenth position in the A.M. Best ranking of the most important reinsurers. The Asia-Pacific zone accounts for 10% of global reinsurance premiums. The appearance of two Asian competitors on this list is due to the increase of premiums volumes emanating from the region. The first ten reinsurers account for 58% of the world premiums.
