Bancassurance, a new niche up for grabs

The expansion of bancassurance will be very beneficial for the insurance industry in Algeria. This class of business will enable Algerian insurers to reduce distribution costs and come closer to their customers.

This development has proved to be all the more indispensable as in Algeria, 28 000 inhabitants are listed to be served by one sales outlet whereas the average global level refers to one sales outlet per 5 000 inhabitants.
