Bahrain, Arig shuts its office in Singapore

After ten years of business, Arig has shut down its office in Singapore. Underwriting and run-off operations have been transferred to its headquarters. The company will be backing its present customers and developing its Asia Pacific portfolio from Bahrain. The group’s management justified its decision by the absence of significant results and by the growing protectionist attitude adopted in the region. The high level of management costs has also been unfavorable to the maintaining of this office.
