AXA is parting with its Dutch subsidiaries

The French group lets go of its subsidiaries in the Nederland. Following an agreement, AXA sells all of its life and property companies'shares to the Dutch SNS Real.

The transaction amounts to 1.75 billion EUR (2.4 billion USD). Analysts say that thanks to the gains from this move, AXA will have additional resources to finance other acquisitions.
