ASTREE's former CEO Mohamed Hachicha passes away

Mohamed Hachicha, a pioneer of the Tunisian insurance industry, has passed away. He headed ASTREE for 36 years.

Before joining ASTREE in the mid-1970s, the deceased held senior positions at STAR.

After his departure from ASTREE, Mr. Hachicha served as a member of the board of the General Insurance Committee (CGA) for several years.

Mr. Hachicha is the father of Hedi Hachicha, former Head of Middle East & Africa P&C Reinsurance at SCOR, who died on 14 June 2024.
