The application of the Insurance Code to CMIR has been settled

A controversial debate for years, the issue whether or not to implement the Insurance Code for the Caisse Interprofessionnelle Marocaine des Retraites (CIMR) has been settled to the advantage of the latter.
In light of the law voted by both chambers of the Moroccan parliament, CIMR, which runs a pay-as-you-go pension plan, has been exempted from the provisions of the 2002 Insurance Code.
