AM Best affirms ratings of Orient Insurance and its main subsidiaries

AM Best has affirmed the “A” (Excellent) Financial Strength Rating and the “a+” (Excellent) Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of Orient Insurance and its subsidiaries, Orient Insurance Company (Egypt) and Orient Takaful (United Arab Emirates). The outlook for all ratings remains stable.

The ratings reflect the UAE-based group's strong balance sheet, robust operating performance, neutral business profile, and prudent enterprise risk management.

In 2025, the group's non-life combined ratio stood at 82.1%, while its return on equity (ROE) reached 14.7%.
