The rating agency Fitch has raised Converium's rating from “BBB-“ to “BBB+” with stable perspective.
The decision came down following the Swiss reinsurer's sale of its North American business to National Indemnity Company, (subsidiary company of Berkshire Hathaway), for the sum of 295 million USD.
